Jack Ovadia started Ovadia Design Group to provide concept-driven architectural and interior design services that is self expressed to a client's needs and identity. His broad experience includes residential architecture and interior design, innovative workplace, academic facilities, retail, hospitality and furniture design.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Ovadia gained experience and knowledge working for developers and numerous prestigious architectural firms. As the head in-house architect at Hidrock Realty Inc., Mr. Ovadia designed building lobbies, hotels and offices for Hidrocks tenants. His projects included the Lobby at 240 West 35, New offices for Simparel Inc., Tarte Cosmetics Company, Schnackel Engineers just to name a few. While at Stephen Yablon Architect, Mr. Ovadia was responsible for coordinating the architectural and managerial aspects of projects such as the Betances Community Center, New Office of AG Asset Management, Alson Capital and Law School Clinic for Saint John's University. Prior to Stephen Yablon, Mr. Ovadia worked at two prominent residential architectural firms Kevin Wolfe Architect and Hottenroth and Joseph Architects, where he was headed and oversaw many private luxury residential projects throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Idaho, Florida and South Carolina.
Mr. Ovadia's work has been published in fashion manuscript. He has served as guest critic at numerous Universities. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Ovadia holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and was awarded NY Council of Society of American Registered Architects. |
