The concept for this Brooklyn townhouse is guided by themes of classical architecture blended with contemporary ease, where a sweeping marble staircase and Art Deco-inspired inlaid doorways give way to rooms dressed in warm oak and alabaster stone. The kitchen concept is a particular standout: a vaulted, plasterwork ceiling sits above grey-green cabinetry and a sculptural marble island as an eye-caching centerpiece. While still in progress, the project is shaping up to be one of the more quietly ambitious residential interiors in the borough.
