For Friedman’s, Ovadia Design Group introduced a fresh perspective to the beloved Upper West Side classic—layering mid-century silhouettes with contemporary detailing to create a space that feels both familiar and elevated. Inspired by the effortless charm of a European café, the interior strikes a new balance of warmth and sophistication through natural materials, rich textures, and inviting tones. “It’s more than a neighborhood spot,” says Jack Ovadia. “It’s a place with character, where familiar flavors meet a space layered with comfort and soul.”
